Lighthearted Leaves

The last few days have been crazy busy.  Thursday was filled with commitments, and yesterday I spent the day with my daughter-in-law's mother learning how to can.

Diane is a special lady, she is always so gracious to open her home up to anyone and is wiling to share her knowledge of gardening and cooking with everyone.  So, she deserves a thank you card!

Diane's favorite color is green, so I decided to use the new Lighthearted Leaves stamp set from Stampin' Up!

I stamped the large leaf four times with black Memento Ink onto Old Olive card stock and then used the Chalk Marker to fill in some of the areas.  The bottom layer leaf was cut out using the Leaflets Framelits Die and the other three were fussy cut out, cutting only a portion of the leaf in order to create a 3-D effect.

Thanks for stopping by!
