Summer Silhouettes and Kinda Eclectic

Originally posted on September 5, 2014

This card features the Summer Silhouette stamp set from Stampin’ Up!   I love this card. To me it is very clean and simple, but makes such a pretty statement.

How to create the card front:
  •  Create a reverse mask using a 5 ¼” x 4’ piece of paper by running the paper through the Big Shop with the third largest Window Frames Collection Framelit.
  • Adhere reverse mask (the piece with the Window Frames Collection image cut out of it)with temporary adhesive to the 5 ¼” x 4” piece of paper you will be stamping on and adhering to your card base.
  • Next sponge on Marina Mist for sky and Old Olive for the ground through the mask opening.
  • Stamp the leaves from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set from Stampin’ Up! through the opening. I used Old Olive.
  • Stamp flowers from the Summer Silhouette stamp set from Stampin’ Up! using appropriate colors of ink through the mask opening. I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive ink.
  • You can now remove your mask. (Isn’t it pretty!)
  • Stamp butterfly from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and punch it out with the Bitty Butterfly punch. Adhere to card front.
  • Punch out 3 flowers using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. Adhere to card front.
  • Adhere Pearl Basic Jewels to center of flowers.
  • Add Pear Pizzazz ¼’ Cotton Ribbon. (It coordinates very well with the Old Olive)
  • Adhere card front to card base.
