Growing up I had a mom that could sew. She was very talented and one time she even made me a swimsuit! It was just as nice as the ones in the store! I was reflecting back about the clothing she had made for me and got to thinking about a polka-dotted dress that she made. I remember the fabric feeling very soft to my skin and I loved the large polka-dots and the color of the fabric, it was a muted cantaloupe crisp! I’ve owned several polka-dotted pieces of clothing over the years and always wore them until they were out of style.
So… here is a polka-dot card! Love those polka-dots! I used the Decorative Mask, Dots and Stripes, by Stampin’ Up! It is a great addition to anyone’s stamping supplies. You can sponge through the openings, spritz, trace, emboss, paint…just about anything! What a fun way to make a background for your cards or scrapbook pages.
