It definitely felt like winter here today, our temperatures were in the forties with a “sharp bite” in the air. Looking on line, it looked like much of the country experienced cooler weather than normal for this time of year. Brrrr!
With visions of hot chocolate and a cozy fire dancing through my head I made a card to celebrate the season. My layout was inspired by the Mojo Monday challenge # 371.
Using the Ornamental Pine stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I stamped the pine bough in Garden Green. I then stamped two pine cones in Early Espresso ink and hand cut them out. After stamping the merry Christmas I used the Circle Collection Framelits to die cut it out. Then I punched out a 1 ¾” Scalloped Circle. Once my stamping was done, paper punched and cut, I sponged everything! Finally, I assembled my card.
If you enjoyed this card, please leave a comment – I’d love to hear from you.
