Ornamental Pine - Merry Christmas

Originally posted on December 25, 2014

Merry Christmas! May your day be filled with love, joy and peace. I hope your stockings were filled with chocolate and stamps (of course)!

This card is a Double Dutch Fold card featuring the Ornamental Pine stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Click here for a link to Splitcoast Stampers’ tutorial on how to make a Double Dutch Fold card.  Once I had stamped the pine boughs, used the gel pen to give a snowy effect, and finally sponged the card stock; I pressed a VersaMark stamp pad all over the background image and then sprinkled with Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder and finally heat set.  I also covered the pine cones with the Iridescent Ice powder.

I hope you enjoyed the card, and again, Merry Christmas!
