Flower Patch

Originally posted on August 2, 2014

What do you think of when you think about summer? I tend to remember the time when my boys were young and the time spent watching them play baseball. Remembering the times when the kids had friends stay over and everyone having a good time. And, the time spent with friends enjoying a good barbequed meal! Actually, now that I’m really thinking about it there are so many more good memories…but it’s time to share a card!

I have shared with you before several of my favorite “go to sets” that are great for backgrounds and embellishments, etc.: Kinda Eclectic, Gorgeous Grunge, Papillon Potpourri, and Everything Eleanor. I now have an embossing folder I seem to want to use all the time, it is Large Polka Dot! I love how it finished off this card!

The dots are made using Crystal Effects and then coloring them with Blendabilities.
