My grandson, Austin, turned four this month and loves super heroes. He wanted a Spider man themed birthday party, so I wanted his birthday card from us to be Spider-man themed too. I searched the internet for Spider-man punch art and found it at Diary of Two Crafty Girls , made by Natasha Hein. Thank you for sharing the pattern Natasha!
I also scanned my finished punch art piece and made him invitations. It would have been cute to hand punch Spider-man for his invitations, but I just didn't have time. Also, I had to scale down the Spider-man because he is larger than I wanted to make the invites.
I made my card very simple, this way if his mom wants to put it in a frame for his bedroom wall she can. Here is my finished card.
Supplies (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Whisper White; Night of Navy; Real Red
Accessories: Spider web Embossing Folder; Big Shot; Punches. (For great instructions and a list of punches see: Diary of Two Crafty Girls)
Love the background textures ... cute card!!!
