Lovely as a Tree
It's been a while since I've been able to spend some time stamping and I have really missed it. I needed some inspiration for my design so I looked at some of my favorite challenge sites and fell in love with this week's challenge at Fab Friday. It gave me an opportunity to use the Chevron Border punch (yea!).
Check out the Fab Friday site here.
I just love the stamp set Lovely as A Tree, especially the oak tree stamp. The area we live in has a lot of oak trees. In times past I have thought the oak was not as pretty as the other trees with their range of beautiful fall colors. Lately I have have been really looking at the colors the oaks display and have discovered they really has a fascinating range of colors too.

Very pretty! I love the stamped background behind the tree. Just a couple of tips -- make sure when linking your cards to challenge sites, that you link to your specific post and not just to your blog in general. That way the viewer won't have to scroll through your blog and search for the right card. Another thing that would be very helpful would be to disable the word verification on your blog. It's often hard to read and can be frustrating when viewers have to make mulitple efforts to get it right. Thanks for joining us at Fab Friday!
ReplyDeleteOoops! I think I just commented on the wrong card! Don't forget to link your post to your challenge entries. You can get the direct link by clicking on your post title and they copying it from the browser bar. This is a great card. I love all the layering of texture and the great fall colors! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
