Regarding Dahlias

I love dahlias, they are so bright and vibrant.  I love there are so many varieties of them.   Here are a few pictures of a couple from my yard.

Speaking of dahlias, I'm getting ready for my classes next week and have been playing with the Regarding Dahlias stamp set.  I didn't realize what a beautiful dahlia stamp is in this set, it really captures center stage on the card.  When I have time to do some scrap-booking I'm going to use the stamp on a layout.

Here is one of the cards I made with the set. (Still trying to learn how to get better pictures to post.)  I stamped the dahlia three times and cut out the image to layer the flower.  With each layer more of the flower is omitted.  The Crochet Trim was sponged with Wild Wasabi ink.

I'll post the other card from class later.
