Swallowtail

Originally posted on May 9, 2014

A Swallowtail card! In fact three!

For this first card I stamped the butterfly onto a piece of card stock, colored it with colored pencils, and then cut it out. This allowed me to maneuver the butterfly around and into the position I wanted it. If you look at yesterday’s Swallowtail post you’ll see the butterfly is more off centered than on this card.  This card has gone wild with polka dots!  I like how crisp this color combination is.

For these next two cards I stamped the butterfly on designer series paper and then cut it out. They have the same card layout, I used the same embossing folder and sentiment, but  different DSP.  Also, with the embossed card stock pieces, they have different embossed sides exposed.
