Bootiful Occasions

I decided to play along with another challenge at the Paper Craft Crew Challenges. This week’s card sketch is #118 - PCCCS118.

I know many places around the globe have lots of snow already and as I made this card these lyrics kept coming to mind!

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve got no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!!

So this card is for all those of you who are experiencing temperatures that cause you to bundle up in your favorite sweater, drink hot chocolate, and wear warm comfy boots!

The Bootiful Occasions stamp set from Stampin’ Up! has four fantastic boots including this winter boot. The Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack has this wonderful DSP that I used for this card that reminds me of a cardigan sweater.  Even the Baker’s Twine reminds me of yarn that you would knit a sweater with – Ha!

After cutting my paper and punching the two cute little banners; I stamped the boot on Whisper White card stock and colored it with Blendabilities.  Next I sponged everything; stamped the sentiment, then assembled my card.
