Blended Bloom

Originally posted on June 28, 2014

I love art and I love to walk through our local art gallery and oh and ah over beautiful paintings and drawings. I cannot draw or paint and wish I could. Therefore, I am thankful for stamps! Whoever started this craze out there – I love you! Ha!

I’ve been playing with watercolor techniques for a while and have enjoyed learning more about the different techniques. For this card I selected the Blended Bloom Stamp from Stamin’ Up! and used the floating re-inker technique to paint the image. After painting the image I fussy-cut the flower out and adhered it with dimensionals.
