Spiral Flower and Fringe Scissors

  +

Do you ever have one of those creative moments when you start out with an idea, and all of a sudden it changes and you end up with something totally different?  It is always happening to me - usually taking me three to four hours to come to the end of that creative moment!  This card is a perfect example of what happens to me.  I started out with a very simple idea in mind and ended up creating a card that is a totally different style for me.

I originally purchased the Spiral Flower die to make flowers for wreaths.  The fringe scissors were also purchased for that same reason...ha!  Looks like I might be creating a different style of card once in awhile - anyway that is the plan right now!

The rose was created using the Spiral Flower die and then I added an additional center that was created using the fringe scissors.  I also sponged the rose edges and dry embossed it to give it more texture.
