Joyful Christmas and Envelope Punch Board

I love the Envelope Punch Board, it is so easy to use and makes more than envelopes.  It's a must have.

I wanted to make something for the ladies to take the cards they made home in.  So I got out the Envelope Punch Board and the Joyful Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! and got to work.  This box holds eight cards and is very easy to assemble.

I didn't like the way the belly band fit around the box, and tried several options for scoring and nothing seems acceptable.  After some frustration I came up with the idea of using the crimper - and voila, the look I wanted!

Box Information

Paper size for box:  9 1/2" x 9 1/2"

Score first score line at 3.5" then punch and score again at 5" and punch.  Turn paper 45 decrees and score on first score line, punch, score on second score line, punch and continue around until last side done.  Fold and secured with adhesive.

Belly band size:  1 3/4" x 12"

Run through crimper then smooth to stretch.  Secure ends.  Add decoration as desired.
