Joyful Christmas

I love the lights and sights of Christmas!  I love sparkle and glitter, and this card I designed for the upcoming Christmas Camp has both!  I have continued playing with the stained glass window technique and love the way the poinsettia on this cards says "Hey, look at me!"

Stained Glass Window Technique Instructions

You will need:  Window sheet; Stazon - Black; Re-inkers of your choice; Crystal Effects; Stampin' Glitter - Dazzling Diamonds; Stamp of choice; paintbrush; wax paper; and toothpicks
  1. Ink stamp with Black Stazon and stamp image onto the window sheet.  Be careful to press straight down and pull straight up otherwise you will cause your stamp to "slide" on the window and smear the image.  Let dry.
  2. Once the image is dry, place a sufficient amount of Crystal Effects to paint your image on the wax paper and add a drop or two of ink as needed into the Crystal Effects - per ink color.  i.e. if you are using three colors of ink, place three drops of Crystal Effects on the wax paper.  Mix with toothpick.
  3. Paint image as desired.  Be careful to stay within the lines of the image.
  4. Dust with Stampin' Glitter - Dazzling Diamonds.  Shake of excess.
  5. Allow to dry
  6. Cut out image
  7. Adhere to paper with Crystal Effects.
